Last Saturday and Sunday, the 14th Firefighters Battalion of Presidente Prudente held the second edition of the "193 - CrossFit Championship with Firefighter Activities." The event aimed to bring the population closer to the day-to-day life of a professional in the field by having participants engage in the same exercises and training as firefighters.

A duo stood out right from the first round of the competition: Martha Moraes and Lilian Lopes, who had an essential factor for their success, the support of Terra Parque Eco Resort.

The athletes represented Cross Elite Presidente Prudente (@crosselitepp on Instagram) in the championship and were able to demonstrate the importance of engaging in physical activities and the relevance of corporate support in sports projects.

"The Terra Parque played a crucial role in our championship. They provided everything we needed and offered tremendous support. It was a successful partnership," says Lilian Lopes, Head Coach of Cross Elite Presidente Prudente (@crosselitepp).

Since the age of 12, Martha Moraes has been engaged in various physical and adventurous activities. For her, engaging in sports during adolescence helped her develop a healthy lifestyle, setting her apart from her friends. "Many of my friends participate in some form of physical activity, but I see that there is still a long way to go for teenagers to understand how beneficial it is for both the body and mind to prioritize these activities in their weekly schedule. Today, I feel much more focused and happy because of it," Martha explains.
