For the history of the world, 22 years might be no more than a grain of sand compared to all that has already happened on this planet. But for Terra Parque, 22 years is a milestone that celebrates a journey born from a simple yet grand dream, one that has transformed the lives of many people.

Looking back, despite all the modern infrastructure and technology the resort has today, some things have never changed: the love for the land, the respect for people, and the magic that happens when hospitality meets nature. A Dream That Became a Destination

The first step was a campground created to welcome families and adventurers seeking contact with nature and genuine experiences. Over the years, the couple’s entrepreneurial vision, sense of innovation, and constant desire to evolve transformed that first initiative into one of the most recognized eco resorts in Brazil, the Resort Fazenda do Vulcão, sought out by families from all over the country and remembered for its unique concept.

Terra Parque was born in 2003 when the founding couple,Júlio Moraes and Sandra Yokota, decided to transform an old rural property into a space for family leisure. In the beginning, there were only a few tents, forest trails, plenty of dirt roads, and a sincere desire to offer people the same things they personally valued: connection with nature, simplicity, and heartfelt hospitality.

“In the beginning, one of our biggest challenges was the need to separate. Sandra returned to Japan and began working on other projects so we could continue investing in Terra, while I stayed here to keep managing what was then just a family campground,” says Júlio de Moraes.

As time passed and the resort grew, came the construction and expansion of the apartments, improvements in the water complex, and the addition of new services and structures such as the spa.In 2022, the attraction that would make Terra Parque even more unique was launched, the grand volcano, and in 2023 the resort expanded internationally with a new venture in Orlando, the Vacation Home.

But what never changed throughout this journey was its essence. Even with innovation, investments, and national recognition, our heart remains here, in the countryside where the smell of wet earth, homemade food, and the simplicity of welcoming others remain part of our identity.

Builders of History: Terra’s Journey Shaped by Many

“On my first day here, I arrived with Júlio, Sandra, and my husband. It was still the beginning, and we didn’t know where this would go, there was only the courage to make it happen. I deeply admire them both, for their business vision and their determination to succeed. I am very proud to be part of this story. I’ve been with Terra Parque practically since it opened, and I plan to stay as long as I can,” says Zélia, manager of the resort’s laundry department.

This collective journey is what allowed Terra Parque to reach where it is today. Every smile, story, and hug shared is part of our essence. That is why we celebrate everyone who helped build this place with us.

“I feel the love from the team toward me, and I’m sure Júlio feels it too. Each person was chosen with care and works with such love and dedication. They help us run this business with excellence,” adds Sandra Yokota.
